Correcting Push Hook Golf Shots
- The push hook can be very frustrating since the shot can go left or right.
- Notice in the before photo how the club and shaft are way behind the golfers right fore arm.
- Also notice that from this position the shaft line is pointing considerably to the right.
- The club is in fact traveling way to the right and if the face continues to point in that direction the shot will be pushed right.
- However if the club ends up closed to the new line the shot will hook wildly.
- In the corrected photo on the right the club is purposely held more in front.
- Both the right and left fore arms are used to keep the club in front.
